Criminal Search
Criminal searches are highly recommended to track past behavior and to protect against violence and theft. Beacon Background Screening Services, LLC performs searches of current records. Criminal searches are available in most states or by county.
Civil Search
Search of county records for civil cases related to lawsuits, unlawful detainers and restraining orders. Our case information will include the party name, case title, the court in which the case is located, case number, filing date, nature of the suit and closing date.
Sexual Predator/Sexual Offender Search
Of 500,000 sex offenders in our nation, 100,000 are NOT in compliance and are living as fugitives. It is important for both Employers and Landlords to know if an applicant has a prior history.
Present and Previous Employment Verification
Present and previous employment verification report provides the employers name, and dates of employment. Comments are provided in a conversational synopsis paragraph.
Professional License and Certificate Verification
License validation provides professional license and certification verification. The report will reveal the validity of applicants' professional licenses, date of issue, renewal and expiration dates, current status and any disciplinary actions.
Workers' Compensation Search
Workers' compensation searches are highly recommended to employers. This information enables employers to avoid placing employees in positions that may pose risk of re-injury and identify habitual claim filers. Workers' compensation history is a statewide search available in most states, but must be conducted post-offer. The search identifies workers' compensation claims against applicants' past employers.
Credit Report
The credit history reports includes verification of the applicants’ name, their current address and two previous addresses, current phone number, current employer, up to three previous employers, and any aliases associated with the Social Security Number. The credit summary portion of the report contains the complete file including public records (i.e., liens, judgments, etc) collection accounts, current or previous delinquent accounts, types of credit, total indebtedness and “profile” (i.e., account charged off, repossessed, etc), as well as credit reports designed exclusively for employers. FICO scores available upon request.
Eviction Search
We will conduct an extensive search to determine if the applicant has a prior history of evictions.
Present and Previous Landlord Verification
We will contact present and previous landlords, confirm rental payments were made on time, verify condition of the property when vacated, as well as confirming any complaints regarding the tenants behavior.
Employment Credit Report
This report provides us with much of the same information that you would receive in a credit report, but also gives us some other information that will enable us to verify information given by an applicant. It provides credit information that would not normally appear on an application but may have an impact on job performance. It provides the employer insight into not only the applicants responsibility toward his/her obligations, but the ability and integrity to fulfill his/her financial obligations.
Educational Verification
We will contact higher institutions and verify information given on a potential employees application. We will confirm the educational credentials, dates of attendance, graduation date and degrees obtained.
Verification of Professional References
We will contact former co-workers, friends and neighbors to gain real information regarding your applicants character and work habits.
Social Security Validation
We will verify that the number you have given us matches up with the applicants name. We will confirm that the number is not one that could be of a deceased person, or a number that has never actually been issued.
